Undefeated Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, with all his world heavyweight titles, returns to Saudi Arabia for a return fight against Tyson Fury. The WBA-Super, WBO, IBO, The Ring and WBC titles will be at stake in this fight. The first fight between the boxers took place in the spring of 2024, and then Usyk managed to defeat the Gypsy King, receiving the status of absolute heavyweight champion.
A few days after the victory, Usyk vacated the IBF title in favor of a British fight for the Dubois vs. Joshua fight, and Tyson Fury took advantage of the right to a rematch and offered to arrange a return fight later this year, choosing the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia as the location for the fight.
Briton Tyson Fury took this fight seriously and stated that he even refused to communicate with his family for three months in order to come out in his best shape for this fight. Usyk is counting on winning his 23rd victory and finally securing his place at the top of world boxing.
There will be several more fights involving Ukrainian boxers at the boxing evening. In the co-main fight of the evening, Sergey Bogachuk will fight against Izmail Davis, and undefeated Daniel Lapin will fight against Dylan Colin.
